Orchids and Wildlife Art Gallery specializes in the promotion
of original fine wildlife art and metal botanical sculptures.
We are proud to be the exclusive agent for several internationally
recognized artists, and to represent young talented artists
who are in the process of building promising careers.
We also carry a limited number of hand-colored antique
prints, including pieces from the original Royal Octavo
Audubon lithographs, original Morris and Selby lithographs,
and select Amsterdam and Leipzig Audubon Elephant Folio
print editions.

Senechal Faust, MFA, who specializes in hand-printed
silkscreen serigraphs and was named Master Artist, Birds
in Art 1999.
John P. O'Neill,
Ph.D., who has illustrated numerous articles and
books, including John O'Neill's Great Texas Birds,
and has discovered13 new bird species –more than
any other living person.

Douglas Pratt, Ph.D. , who has illustrated numerous
articles and books, and was selected by the Peterson
Estate to finish the paintings for the final edition
of Roger Tory Peterson's A Field Guide to the Birds
of the Eastern and Central North America after Mr. Peterson's
untimely death.
Daniel Lane, M.S. whose pieces have been published
on the cover of The Auk and have graced the pages of
numerous publications.
John
Akers, who while primarily specializing in limited
edition hand-colored copper plate etchings, is also
known for his original acrylics for National Ducks Unlimited,
the New Orleans Audubon Zoo, the New Orleans Aquarium
of the Americas, and the official jaguar conservation
stamp for Belize.

Randal Slocum who specializes in painstakingly realistic,
metal botanical sculptures of orchid species and hybrids.
Hans Peeters,
Professor Emeritus, Chabot College, who is best known
for his large oil paintings of birds of prey, though
he also enjoys painting other wildlife, particularly
in what he calls his "looser ecological core"
style. His accolades range from being published in Architectural
Digest to being commissioned by the Smithsonian
Institution to do illustrations of Indian birds.
Barry Mackay,
who has since age 3 been painting wildlife, and whose
mother, a pioneer in wildlife rehabilitation, lead him
to a lifetime of the study and conservation of wildlife.
His accomplishments are too lengthy to list here, but
are included in his biography on this website.
Dale Zimmeman,
Professor Emeritus, Western New Mexico University, who
studied wildlife art under the legendary George Miksch
Sutton, and has been teaching as a university professor
since 1957. He has personally observed nearly 5000 bird
species in the wild, which is a major accomplishment
in and of itself."
